Media interviews with Alan Neal of CBC’s “All in a Day” and Jennifer Ashawasegai of Bamboseda (an Aboriginal news magazine radio program). Podcast interviews with Beth Greenhorn at Library and Archives Canada. And interview by youth researcher, Amy Owingayak, with Floyd “Bud” Neville. It’s been another busy day in Ottawa! Bud worked at as a social worker in the Arctic Kivalliq region during the 1950s and 1960s, and Rankin Inlet in particular.

The Nanisiniq: Arviat History Project works with Beth Greenhorn, Tom Thompson, and their team of archivists to identify old photos of Elders from the Arctic Kivalliq region as part of LAC’s Project Naming. Check out the Project Naming website to see archival photos from the Nunavut region and maybe even identify your grandma ;)
