Teamwork

To begin with, Arviat History Project has opened up many opportunities for the Inuit researchers. To give an example, as a group the assistants are travelling to do research at the archives, interviewing and blogging. It is a lot of fun to experience different things while learning to accomplish a common goal. Teamwork is very important in the project because that is how we share our opinions, put together some information on how our project can fulfill our common goal and learn to do cross-cultural group work. Also, becoming acquinted with the people who have worked in the Arctic help us researchers to succeed in the project. As I said, teamwork and cooperation helped us to gain more skills for different opportunities.
